Festivals and feasts of each Sestiere

In the period of the Quintana, every Sestiere sets up its own tavern, for dinners and propitiatory feasts awaiting the joust, or in the case of victory, to celebrate it this was established so as to be in accordance with the spirit of the antique Statues of 1377, that foresaw the celebration of the patron saint's feast with "con solemnità de jochi et de balli, allegramente " (the games of the festivity, the dances, with gaiety).
